Description

Eric and I thought it would be visually intriguing to construct a commission piece featuring Daredevil and Hellboy due to their shared visual and thematic symmetry. Eric wanted to experiment with an inkwash/colored pencil motif, and I, for one, think that the end result is stunning. This is one of the best renditions of Hellboy I've seen. Check out that Right Hand of Doom! [The subtleties and rich texturing are difficult to appreciate on this scale, but zoom-in if you can.] Thanks, Eric, for another amazing Daredevil commission and for making this collaboration so much fun! Excellent work by Meador, the use of the red ink wash combined with pencil gives this piece the powerful mood it deserves! Great idea combining both DD and Hellboy together!
