Description

Russ Milburn was a commercial artist out of Chicago for years and after retiring took on odd jobs down in Southern Illinois where his family lived. We were talking one day about Comic books and he told me he had always wanted to do comic art and never did. On a whim I asked him do draw something for me and two weeks later he showed up at work and handed this to me...and I was completely blown away! This piece is done completely in chalks and if you have ever tried working with that medium, it takes years of practice and know how to get them to work right. Unfortunately, Russ past away about10 years ago from cancer. I have no idea if he did anything like this for anyone else so I wanted to share this with everyone, I hope you like it.
