Description

GAGAMBA "SPIDER" is a superhero komiks character wearing a spider mask
to hide his true identity. It was also the title of the komiks series in which the character appeared. Gagamba was created by brothers Nestor Redondo and Virgilio Redondo, and first appeared in the Tagalog Klasiks in 1962 under the title "Bakas ni Gagamba" and was later adapted into a movie.
This original artpiece is the second page of chapter 8 comics story entitled
"Ang Lihim ni Gagamba" The Secret of the Spider which was serialized in Alcala Fight Komix, Issue # 8 on October 15, 1963.
