DescriptionI haven't been able to dig up much biographical info on Turner, but he drew the "Carnival" panel feature for over 40 years! What strikes me about his work is the lush brush line, combined with some soft shading. It doesn't hurt that this panel, from 3/13/46, features such a lovely lass. The gag line on this panel is: "Have you got something to make curves out of U-turns?"Social/Sharing |
