Painted cover for "The Ox-Bow Incident" by Walter Van Tilburg Clark, Classics Illustrated #125 ( Gilberton, March 1955 ). Interior art by Norman Nodel. His first art in the Classics series and what a fine debut.

A great cover to one of the great stories from the 20th century. I love how the noose frames around the three cowboys on horses.
