Description

Great specialty drawing by Michael Dooney of his character, Gizmo talking to a beautiful gal in a spacesuit who is petting Gizmo’s pal, Fluffy Brockleton, a dog-like character. Gizmo asks her ”Are You Sure You’ve Never Met Wally Wood???”. A great piece by Dooney, best known for his work on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series. Dooney also created Gizmo in 1986 which was published by Mirage Studios. Gizmo told the story of two space adventurers: Gizmo Sprocket, a robot with a cool attitude, and Fluffy Brockleton, a dog-like character. They are accompanied by Soto, a sentient, pan-dimensional space vehicle that resembles a trailer truck. Signed by the artist and inscribed – "To Tim – yoo-hoo!”. Drawn in ink and marker on Bristol board, the original measures 8-3/4” * 11-1/4”.
