Description

From the moment I opened this issue and saw this page, I wanted it. I am grateful that Jon Sibal let it go as he never planned selling it. I love the Golden Age Adventure costimes of the Legion and the Substitute Legion. The wonder on Clark and Ploar Boy's face mirrored my own awe at the 30th century I visited each month with the help of writers and artists. But what makes it very special is the first two panels. As a kid most of us like Clark and Polar Boy wanted to fit in and find a safe place where we could fit in and just be ourselves. I have quite a bit of art by Gary Frank and Jon sibal but his page speaks to me on so many levels and it is a Grail that I will treasure.

Congratulations! Love this page--one of my favorites from the story. Gary Frank does an excellent job of capturing the flavor of the old Adventure Comics days, yet in a modern style.
