About this sketch, WML writes that it is "...from the period where I was trying to sell... the idea of a fourth Epicurus novel... This was to be a combination of the Odyssey and the Book of Joshua (since the Philistines were probably archaic Greeks) with Epicurus and the gang meeting the Cyclops, Lotus Eaters, and Moses. Tentative title: The Smartest Guy in the Room. "
