Description

It was around 1982, just before his death, that Herg� realized this project destined to the fresco of the Stockel underground station in Brussels.
This work appears to us as a legacy of the artist, by showing about 140 characters full of vitality and humor, coming from the 22 comic books. Herg� will never see the fresco of 2 x 135 meters long, finished mainly by Bob de Moor.

The 135 metres mural of the Stockel metro station has meanwhile opened in 1988, from studio work on sketches of Herg� shortly before his death".

I didn't enjoy Flight 714 so much when I read it as a kid, but when I reread it as later, I enjoyed it more and more - has to be one of my top 3 tintin stories. Great image from a classic Tintin adventure.
