Description

I was looking for an example of the amazing work Bissette and Totleben did on Swamp Thing with Alan Moore, and this piece took my breath away. Many thanks to Ken Danker for parting with it.

Bissette's pencils and design are perfect as each image blends seamlessly to form a whole, Totleben's finishes (he does far more than ink) are intricate and beautiful to behold and Moore's words are short, sweet and laced with irony. It is as iconic a Swamp Thing page as one is likely to find.
