My good buddy, Eric, created this haunting tribute to my favorite tormented soul, Matt Murdock. I love the profound Miller-esque shadow-play, and the quiet gravitas in the narrative of this piece. The bloodied gloves and spot-on body language say it all. (I love that JRJR hair style, sir.) Thanks a ton, Eric! This is just hauntingly good. The piece seems to capture the essence of the man behind the mask, which makes it all the more special. Eric has done some wonderful work for you, and this is right up there with the very best

I, too, love the shadows! Eric's pencils have a rough look that belies their masterfulness.

A great deal of emotion in this piece, Matthew!! Captures everything tragic about Murdock's life. I'm guessing that Matt's thinking about his father at this moment.

This could be my favorite piece by Eric that you own. Haunting is a great description. I LOVE it!!
