Description

I saw Mario's work in the X-Men/Spider-Man mini from earlier this year and loved it! The detail was outstanding and everything looked gorgeous to boot, especially Marvel Girl!

I tried to meet with Mario at the 2009 NYCC and it just didn't happen. However, Mario did agree that when he had some time, he would fit into his commission schedule. Flash forward a few months and Mario sent me an email with this image attached. I was floored by this!

Sadly, the scan doesn't do it justice but underneath everything is green pencil, with blue, red, and white pencils for finishes and highlights. The detail in her hair is particularly amazing!

A huge, huge thanks to Mario Alberti for making me a very happy fan!!
