Who am I to turn down a John Buscema's Galactus splash? This is the last eBay purchase I made, and just because it went for what I happened to have on my Paypal float at the time. Actually, it's the last personal art purchase period. Everything that came later (which isn't much) was through trades or courtesy of the gifted artists I work with.

Galactus is very likely my fave US comics character, and John Buscema is one of the definitive Marvel artists so, even though Nova is a second rate harald (who isn't, against Silver Surfer?!?), I couldn't help going for this one.

GREAT ONE! I always dug this one. In a book of splashes this might be the best non-Surfer page!
