I don't really know where this is from: likely from one of those kids comics Toppi used to work for years ago, providing unbelievable illustrations that made adults steal the pamphlets from the grubby little hands of their spawn.

Toppi is one of the Italian masters and a veritable artist's artist: Frank Miller, Mike Mignola, Walt Simonson, Joe Quesada and many others swear by him. They obviously know *good* when they see it...
