Description

The original cover painting for "Faust", Classics Illustrated No. 167 (Gilberton, 1962). Image area 14" x 21". The painting was done over Norman Nodels pencils, much to his dismay. Read the full story in Bill Jones' excellent book on Classics Illustrated. Thanks as always to Hart.
