DescriptionThis book came out when I first started to really collect comics. I actually didn't read Year One by Miller and Mazzucchelli until a bit later (I know, sacrilege!) but when I did I was like wow, it's so clever how different comics have the same scenes from different viewpoints! (what can I say, I was young and easily impressed!) And now I have the cover! I also since got the cover to issue #2 CAF link hereSocial/Sharing |

Birch and Bair made an impressive team. It's a memorable book and cover from a time when, for a brief moment or two, comics seemed fresher, darker and a little more dangerous.

Great way to end the art year. Such a nice looking piece. You went out on a bang in 2009.

An amazing piece of art!! I had a chance to pick it up in San Diego last year but passed on it. I'm glad it found a good home!!

What a beautiful cover. One of the joys of the CAF site, is discovering new artists who are quite good (at least new to me).

Some day I have to read again this series, but as of now, I remember it as a really good one. The authors catched the spirit of Batman: Year One so well... I still don't understand why this series was so underrated and ignored by DC.

They picked the perfect cover to kick off this mini-series.
Congrats on addition to your collection.
