This was so tight I bid on it initially thinking it was the final! Signed on back. Darrell K. Sweet Dragon on a Pedestal (The Magic of Xanth, Book #7) Paperback Cover Preliminary Original Art (Del Rey Books, 1983). This preliminary cover study for Piers Anthony's fantasy novel has an overall size of 4" x 7", and the art is in Excellent condition. Darrell K. Sweet signed the back of this painting.

Too much to hope that this would be a final piece. I read a lot of Xanth, but had to stop after like the 25th or so. Just too convoluted to remember all the Xanth history.
