Description

Everyone has that one cover they just love, right? For me, a kid reading comics in the '90's, ASM 375 was the cover for me. Spider-Man vs. Venom on some debris over a holofoil background? Sold! :) My good friend Fred knew this and he commissioned Gabriel Hardman, a true up-and-coming talent, to recreate the cover for me as a Christmas present. I was floored when i saw this! The detail in the piece is amazing (no pun intended) and the pose is great; Venom is clearly overpowering poor Spidey!

I feel very, very fortunate to have this and my thanks go out to both Fred and Gabriel for this outstanding gift. Thanks guys!!

Quick update: This piece is featued in Gabriel's 2010 sketchbook!!!

Amazing cover re-imagining. I think if I had to choose between the original foil cover and this one, I'd choose this one. Congrats and thanks for sharing!
