There are tendencies to cheat in comics when drawing things. This is especialy true when it comes to machinery and computer circuits, which, not infrequently, are merely lines on a cube. As can be seen on this page, Rags doesn't cheat. He draws components that you would expect to find in complicated machinery. There's a heat sink on the bottom of the panel, a couple of wire harnesses hanging from behind the removed panel, actual three dimensional wires in the wall, and there's even a little thickness to the border of the panel surrounding the screen - just like you could find in real life. Rags probably opened up his computer (or an old stereo receiver) for this page for reference and otherwise pulled out all the artistic stops in this series. And it shows. A subtle page, but these subtle pages are sometimes the ones that showcase an artist's greatness (see also Wally Wood drawing machinery). Congratulations Ron!
