I believe Corben illustrated a PJ Farmer book called A Feast Unknown featuring characters based on Tarzan and Doc Savage. I think this may be an interior illustration from that book.

Corben's color choices make his work incredibly unique. Very much how I pictured the future world in HG Wells The Time Machine, don't know what this painting is for though

Randy's right. This is reprinted in Richard Corben: Flights Into Fantasy, by Fershid Bharucha (Thumbtack Books), as the cover to Midworld (Doubleday).

This is really amazing! It is a pity that the photo is not good quality, even if it is easy to see that it is an amazing art. I do not know about the publication, but, you can ask to Corb directly, just write to him from his web site, normally his wife Donna or Rich directly reply. They are very nice and kind persons.
