Description

I had the good fortune of finally meeting Concrete creator Paul Chadwick at a small collectibles show here in town over the weekend. I'd always liked the Tintin-like adventure and authenticity that Paul had brought to a Concrete story from the late 1980s involving a climb through the mountains of Nepal, so I asked him to re-visit that scenario for this sketch. Paul far exceeding my wildest expectations with this incredible drawing.

the very nice thing about this illustration is it sparks my imagination. I want to know about the journey and what happens next.

I love that story, and this is a beautiful piece to go along with it. Fantastic pick-up, great for you to meet Paul, and have this lovely piece as a token of that meeting!
