George, I just started collecting Big Little Books recently. As a "rescue plan" more than a reading list. Viewing the years these books were printed, and the fact that they were aimed at getting young people to read more, I wonder what happened to the original owners. My father served as a Tank Commander in WW2, and I wonder how many young men reading these books in the early to mid 1930's wound up enlisting after December 7th... These books and stories are historic to me, and deserve to be saved before they crumble... -Gary
