Description

This is a piece I consider myself incredibly lucky to own....a "grail" piece for sure. Quietly's work is unique, modern, classic, simple and complex all at once--if that makes any sense?!? If this wasn't made into a poster, it should have been. It's from he and Grant's first issue of New X-Men together and it captures Scott, Jean, Emma, Hank, Logan, and Charles in a simple but effective way. Their run that begins here was a game-changer for the X-Men and I'm glad to have something from this era. There's some great detail around the border that is instructions to the colorist that likely came from Frank-cool stuff. Hope to get Frank and Grant to autograph this some day. And I definitely hope to get a better scanner soon so I can share the detail on this with everyone.

A Wow! Amazing piece! That double page made a huge impression on my first time I read it. Grail piece for sure. I'd love to see a large scan of this to read Quietly's notes for the colorist.
