Description

X-Factor scares the heck out of a "mutant" only to find out it's a kid playing a prank. One of the earliest hints in the series that the mutant hunter idea might not be the way to go.

The third panel is a stat of the artwork underneath it. It was reduced so the word balloon would fit. Bob Layton wrote this issue and was particularly chatty here.

Great page... fine storytelling, smooth, expressive inking! Maybe Layton thought he was getting paid by the word here?
