DescriptionThis cover was originally used for the 1986 Palladium Books RPG game cover entitled “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures!” The RPGs were one of the first licensed products Mirage took part in. The art was used for various other licensing purposes as well, such as Topps card art, Space Gamer/Fantasy Gamer #79, and most recently IDW's TMNT 25th Anniversary Hardcover, which puts this image in continual publication for nearly 30 years. I have always loved this image, and its inclusion on a calendar kept the month in my childhood room permanently August 1990 for a very long time. Thanks for looking! Pencils, Inks, Paints all on one board. An incredible combination considering how normally for their covers, they did a Pencils & Inks piece, photocopied that, then painted the copy, creating essentially two original covers for the finished piece. Wow, this brings back memories. I remember being very excited about this book, even though I didn't play role-playing games. But it was such a cool package that I had to have it. Still got it around somewhere. Congrats to you for finding this!

My Favorite piece of TMNT art hands down. I kept my TMNT calendar with August up for years just so i could look at this image. Great collection and definitely a standout!
