DescriptionA wonderful interchange from 'The Song of Sheeva', the sixth part of Bad Company II: The Krool Heart, in which Sheeva and Danny share a bitter-sweet moment as the former prepares to sacrifice herself for the latter, the love of her life. Sheeva's line 'Don't mistake the map for the territory' is one of my favourite in the story, and I am particularly impressed with the juxtapostion of love and death in the central panel, Danny's skull shoulderpad (a hand-me-down from Mad Tommy) foreshadowing the inevitable. This is also Danny and Sheeva's only kiss - at least this time it's not Protoid pretending to be Sheeva!Thanks to David Rees for alerting to me to the sale of this page (and Wakefield Carter for selling on behalf of the great man, Mr. Brett Ewins.)
