DescriptionWhen I see something like this, I wonder how many (and how often) stories DC or Marvel commissions and then doesn't use... or cancels the project before it is published. This is the splash of a story intended for an issue of Superman-Batman... that was canceled before it was published. Tony drew 6 pages of the story set in the 1940's with the "classic" Fleisher Superman. A while ago, he sold some of those pages on eBay (which I bought). During a conversation with Ray, he mentioned that he was supposed to ink that job, and was willing to ink this page for me. So, here is a splash of a job that could have been but never was.Social/Sharing |
