(b. 25/6/1935, Italy)
Bruno Marraffa entered the comics field by lettering the series 'Kriss' from 1961. He then moved to England, where he lived and worked until 1971. Back in Italy, he continued working for the British market, but he also began collaborations with Edifumetto. He illustrated the title comic of the periodical 'Maki' in 1977, and he illustrated several episodes of 'Ken Parker' and 'Mister No' two years later. Marraffa continued working with the latter characters until 1985, when he became an illustrator at the publishing house Barbieri.

Romano, nato il 25 giugno 1935, il disegnatore Bruno Marraffa muove i primi passi da professionista come letterista per la serie "Kriss", nel 1961. In seguito, si trasferisce in Inghilterra, lavorandovi fino al 1971, anno in cui rientra in Italia, pur proseguendo la collaborazione con il mercato britannico. Esauriti i rapporti professionali con l’Inghilterra, Marraffa lavora per le testate di Bianconi e per la Edifumetto di Renzo Barbieri. Disegna vari episodi di Ken Parker e approda a Mister No nel 1979 con l’albo n. 55, "L’aereo scomparso" (testi di Ennio Missaglia). L’impegno con il personaggio nolittiano prosegue fino al 1985, poi Marraffa torna a lavorare per l’editore Barbieri, dedicandosi contemporaneamente all’illustrazione per l’editoria scolastica e la narrativa per ragazzi.
