DescriptionIt's Legion Races Round Two.Mon-el has always been portrayed as a little distant or apart from others in the Legion. A 1000 year imprisionment in the Phantom Zone made him truly "The Elder Statesman "of the group. In one incarnation of the Legion he is viewed by teamates Triad and Andromeda as "The Seeder of Worlds " with an almost Messianic status. Ultra Boy is the rough and tumble kid from one of the Galaxy's toughest and corrupt planets Rimborr. He is the scrappy bad boy turned hero, who is always up for a challenge Both have different personalities but they were drawn into a circle of friendship through their respective partners Phantom Girl and Shadow Lass. In this small group within the Legion. Mon-el lets down his guard. Their easy friendship leads to a natural pairing for Round 2 of Legion Races. Again Mike Netzer and Chris Ivy did a phenomenal job. You can see how the process was put together in the additional images section.The Infantino cover from Flash 175 was perfect. The impish grin on Mon-el's face coupled with the stunned suprise of Ultra boy as he places second is priceless. These two would give it their best but still have fun along the way. At the end of the day..the winner is Mon-el. Social/Sharing |

While your choice of characters doesn't match the mythic proportions of the original (and how could it?), Mr. Netzer & Co. more than make up for it with sheer artistic wizardry and an aura of sheer badass coolness.

Simply outstanding--love the story the expressions of Mon-El and Ultra Boy tell! Dynamite artwork, and a great touch to see your name in the credits. Keep 'em coming---your ReLegion pieces never fail to bring a smile!
