Description

Before my hunger for OA turned to a full time collecting habit I was and still am a huge comic collector ...My passion isn't really about the grade and more about the (his)story !!! I grew up with the Marvel SuperHeroes we all know and love, grew up with Jack and Stan's creations and as I grew older I collected !
This little "intro" is supposed to explain how much I love this cover which is featuring the first Marvel super hero Dr Droom who in this reprint edition of a very early comicbook ( Amazing Adventures #3, first "Marvel" comic !!! ) has become the world's famous Avenger Dr Druid !!! ( it is actually the second ish of Dr Druid, as the origins are retold in WWT#19 )
We can see Dr Droom as a prototype for Dr Strange and for Doctor Doom at some different levels, the Amazing Adventures will soon be followed by the FF and the title will ultimatly become the Amazing Fantasy and reveal the most famous wall crawler to the world ...
Dr Druid appeared later in the 70's on some Hulk issues and was then reintroduced in the Marveldom !!!
Drawn by Kirby and inked by Sinnott this awesome masterpiece is one of the special highlight from my collection, an ultimate Marvel superhero Classic and a dream come true!!!
