Description

Okay, this isn't a paperback ... it's from Little Golden Book 420. It reprints LGB 179, but Tenggren's artwork in that first book was probably deemed too scary for young readers, and the the illustrations were redone throughout the book. Tenggren (who was probably responsible for Disney's Seven Dwarfs) painted numerous covers for Golden Press, and after several "hits," including the Pokey Little Puppy and the Tawny Scrawny Lion, his name was added to later titles, as was the case with this book.
