New Teen Titans Drug Awareness Special #1 COVER by George Perez. What an Icon of a cover featuring George Perez and Dick Giordano showing off all their amazing talents with this superb cover featuring SPEEDY holding a dead little boy in his arms, as the rest of the NEW TEEN TITANS and several children mourn! If you don't recognize the hero kneeling down on the cover), that's "The Protector" -- this promotional comic co-sponsored by Keebler couldn't have a Robin appearance because the Boy Wonder was licensed to another cookie company! This cover was an illustration of Robin re-worked to be Protector because of some whited-out were applied to the leg of the Protector, where Robin green tight would have been.

A piece of Titans history..With his own addiction & struggles , Speedy was the perfect Titan to hold the young victim. Powerful
