Description

This one was a bummer just because I know he misheard me and I'd seen him do some awesome Marvel sketches for the 3 folks in front of me, but I was happy to get something in general. Johnny Ryan was sitting at the Fantagraphics table at the 2011 Small Press Expo and I had an issue of Marvel's Strange Tales anthology series for him to sign (his contribution was hilarious, by the way!). When I asked for a Marvel sketch, he said "So there's no theme, just anything?" and I said, "No, anything Marvel", but obviously, with the noise level in the room, he was unable to hear me. Still, definitely a Johnny Ryan sketch so it's all good!
