DescriptionUnder the agreement with Edgar Rice Burroughs back In the mid 80´s, the Yugoslavian publisher started making its own Tarzan stories, written and drawn by some of the best Yugoslavian artist of that time, gathered under the company Marketprint. Some of the biggest talents of that time , like Bane Kerac, Branko Plavsic, Sibin Slavkovic etc. worked on the title who made a big impact then, and so called "YU Tarzan" was also published in other countries, such as Scandinavian ones.This is the first cover in the series, pencilled by great Bane Kerac and inked by Branko Plavsic who unfortunately passed away last month. This cover was also used for the new de-luxe edition of Tarzan who started in 2011 and will collect the complete series in 9 hard cover volumes. Cannot say how happy and proud i am to have this cover in my collection. Thanks, Bane and Branko ! Social/Sharing |

Amazing piece,
Tarzan in full swing it is no wonder that is also used for the collection.
Unfortunaly I do not read Serbian.
