Back in the 1990's I found myself with a brief career writing trading cards including the infamous True Crime sets of serial Killers and Gangsters - I collaborated with Max Allan Collins on the first set of gangsters and wrote the gangster set myself. Yes I wrote the trading cards your parents didn't want you to have (and still have a hand full of sets for sale - hard to do as they are banned on ebay and a number of other outlets! Set 1 is $25 for gangsters and serial killers $8 for gangsters only plus postage - set 2 is $20 for gangsters and serial killers $8 for gangsters only plus postage also have some uncut sheets of both - limited authors edition for $25 each pl;us postage.
I have been also looking for art to the gangsters cards especially by artist Thom Ang - to date the only things i have found is the art for the card wrappers as seen below. You can contact me through the like on the logo art in this gallery . Also will sign your set by sending you a signed card from either gangster set for $1 each to cover card and postage

When the cards were originally cionceptualized the serial killers were to be sold as one set and the gangsters as another set of 55 cards each. Stan Woch did the art for both sets wrappers. Then it was decided to combine the sets so one piece became the art fror the wrpper for set 1 and the other for set 2. Ran inot Stam a t a show and he had the art fpre sale - it ended up being part of a deal for a men's advetnure painting I had for sale
