Description

Caanan is the creator of Max Overacts, a webcomic that I�m amazed is not syndicated in the papers by now. It�s the first true heir to �Calvin & Hobbes� that I�ve seen. The writing is brilliant and the art is terrific, with great storytelling and likable, expressive characters. I asked Caanan if he could do his cast on the beach in Hawai�i and he happily obliged. The piece is done in inks and watercolor, and I think it came out amazing. If you�re a comic strip fan and haven�t read Max Overacts yet, you really need to do so. You won�t regret it.
