Description

Page 3 of Jigsaw #2 from the Silver Age Harvey Thriller line. Also referred to as Big Hero Adventure #2, this short-lived series featured a "Mr Fantastic"-esque hero who could stretch, bend, and rearrange his body.

The Harvey Thriller line was launched in the middle-1960s in response to the Silver Age superhero boom inspired by the success of Marvel's new line of characters. Edited by Captain America co-creator, Joe Simon, the line featured art by several top-tier talents, such as Reed Crandall and Jack Kirby. The lead "Space Olympics" story in the this issue with art by Tony Tallarico as well as the Man From U.N.C.L.E. spoof back-up by Carl Pfeufer are nice examples from the era.
