DC - Captain Atom & Marvel - Captain America

When Nathaniel Rogers tried to join the military, he was rejected over and over again because he did not meet the requirements. But he did get a chance to be part of a special project to create a super solider. He was given a serum and put into an containment suit. During the experiment, the chamber blew up, destroying all the research and data, and killing the one science that knew the serum's formula and the atomic radiation levels that were needed to activate the process. When Nate came to, he was transformed into the American Atom: Nuclear Powered Super Solider.
