DescriptionKirby/Ayers pre hero magic!I'm not generally a big Pre-hero fan - although I've recently had the opportunity to read some of those stories and have been very impressed by the writing and the artwork. But, this one is special. I'm a tax guy by day, so when I saw this piece, I set my sights on one day having it in my collection. The US has a worldwide theory of taxation for it's citizens and residents. This just proves that Stan Lee was once again thinking more broadly than everyone else in the early 60's. Again, Kirby/Ayers, and just spectacular!

Another historic addition to your TOS collection! Too cool! Even though these comics came out before my time, I was still drawn to them as a kid.

With death being nothing but a gimmick to sell more comics see (Superman 75 and the aptly named Phoenix), the only certainty in comics is taxes, which you have nicely summed up here. Congratulations!

There IS a bit of a resemblance… ;) Awesome pickup, Ron. Jack's pre-hero sci-fi work is sometimes underappreciated -- nice to see it getting more and more love! Plus, Ayers inked Kirby perfectly in these old yarns. As always, you've got a great eye!
