Description

Page 014 – Chad Spilker is a regular guest at the MCBA cons, and I've gotten a nice Thunder piece from him in the past. He's a nice guy, and I look forward to stopping by his booth each year.

Amethyst first met him at the 2012 Free Comic Book Day at the Source Comics & Games. She waited in line to get a sketch in her book from him, but he had to leave before she could get one. He was gracious though, giving her a beautiful Iron Man head sketch he had done previously.

We saw him at the SpringCon and she wanted to get a skech from him in her book. I coached her a little, mentioning that she might want to have him do a female character, as he does a great job with women. She requested a quick sketch of Black Widow, and he turned out an absolutely lovely piece.

I so need to commission another piece from him...
