Now -that's- a long commission title ...

I've tried a few times in the past to be able to commission something from Keith but our schedules never really synced up. If I had the money he wouldn't be taking commissions. Until now. I loved Keith's FF work when I was a kid (late 100's) and as a teen (the early 300's) but when the stars finally aligned I totally went Thor. I'd been thinking about how there were these cool villains that I like (the Bi-Beast, Cobra and the Radioactive Man) that I hadn't used yet. When I found that Keith was open I made the connection that they were all Thor foes. Throwing in Zarrko and taking a nod from a favorite Defenders cover (#9) and it all come together.

Right from the initial sketch from Keith I loved this piece. Just love it. And the final piece? I think it's great! The idea that Zarrko, in seeming defeat, uses his powers to summon three of Thor's greatest foes? Why wasn't this actually used in a comic? I just love the faces, especially Thor's and Radioactive Man's. And I really dig the fingers on Radioactive Man's left hand. I really appreciate Keith doing this for me. And, of course, a big thank you to Jeff Jaworski for helping make this happen.

Kevin, this is simply a masterpiece! A super idea that really worked out fantastically. COngrats on finally getting your Pollard...and you couldn't do any better!

How cool is it that at least 25 years since Pollard drew the THOR comic, here he is drawing Thor for you. Great DEFENDERS cover template too!
