DescriptionQuite simply, here is the "Single Greatest Surviving" Golden-Age "Batman" interior page of art by Bob Kane, Jerry Robinson, & George Roussos!!! This spectacular page of original artwork not only includes scenes that are very reminiscent of "Robin's Swearing-In" sequence from "Detective Comics #38" (APRIL 1940) in "Panel #'s 4 & 6", but this example of art also includes "One of the Most Iconic Images of Batman & Robin" as featured as a "Full-Page Pin-Up" on the Back Cover of "Batman #1" (SPRING 1940) as vividly represented in "Panel #7". It should also be noted that "Both" the Top & Bottom Margins contain detailed instructions from Bob Kane to Jerry Robinson instructing him on how he "Must Precisely Ink this Page". This specific Golden-Age "Batman" page also includes the earliest evidenced usage of "Zip-A-Tone" in the comic book industry as seen in "Panel #'s 1 & 2". Last but certainly not least, this "Batman #13" page 13 conclusion story art also has a "HUGE" image area of 13" x 18" where of special note "Panel #'s 4, 6, & 7" have the appearance of each being a "Miniature Cover"!!! (Bob Kane: 10/24/15 to 11/3/98) (Jerry Robinson: 1/1/22 to 12/7/11) (George Roussos: 8/20/15 to 2/19/00)Social/Sharing |

Wow!! All I can say is...Unbelievable!!! You can't get more historic than an early Kane Batman. This one is just an amazing example. Congrats on an incredible acquisition.

Clearly one of the best Batman pages in the CAF and existence. I'm really happy to know that something like this still exists. Thanks for sharing it.
