DescriptionFrom the third Corto Maltese story ever published, when Pratt only used high quality lightfast ink and artist cardboard. The blacks are lush and deep on the original, even after forty years it feels like it just came out of the maestro's hands. It still surprises me how quick and confident must have been Pratt's hand, almost no penciling (the glossy artist board is not ideal for pencil and unforgiving to erasing)Social/Sharing |

cool. interesting to see that they chopped up the word balloons to put in a translated text instead of keeping the original Italian. you would think they would have done that on a stat and not the original.
