Description

I've been a big Mike Wieringo fan for years, and his far-too-soon death 5 years ago upset me terribly because I never got the chance to meet him at a con and tell him in person how awesome I thought he was. I'm happy, then, that at least I can now own some small part of his legacy. This page is extra meaningful to me in that it's not only from one of my favorite Spidey stories ever, but the story that pretty much cemented my status as a Mike Wieringo fan.

Still sad I never got to say it in person, but thanks for the great memories and even greater comics, 'Ringo. And thanks to Will Gabri-el at Will's Comic Art Page for putting this into my hands.

I was just talking to a friend about Mike today. It was terribly tragic to lose such a talent. You are now caretaker of a piece of Mike's creative history. No doubt you are up to the task after reading your thoughtful tribute. Congratulations:-0
