"UP PERISCOPE" Nude Original Art by OLIVIA De Berardinis art (Signed and dated).. ...

Featuring an Original piece by OLIVIA De Berardinis...With a nude BETTIE PAGE in a black mermaid outfit...This is one of Olivia's most iconic images of the icon herself, Bettie Page...Plus we hunted Olivia down and confirmed this is the ORIGINAL piece, the 1st "UP PERISCOPE" and she graciously allowed a picture with her, holding this item...This is a 1-of-a-kind item, the Original...The Holy Grail of both Bettie Page and Olivia (in our humble opinion).........These scans are not as nice as the actual piece due to camera that is not capturing the full details and is very slightly blurred and slightly off color...Pictures/scans are showing the full piece, then close up of the piece...Done with Acrylics on illustration board..... The actual painting has deeper, more vibrant colors....Very nice piece....This piece has neither the Olivia stamp or the Bane stamp (or sticker) on the back, that is why we asked Olivia to pose with her piece and that we were going to list it as her 1st original of this image. As you see, we have the pics for proof...

This image of Bettie Page in 'Up Periscope' has been used in lots of books, trading cards, greeting cards, and a host of other endeavors....

Grade of item? : This item is in NM+ condition (Brand-new)....The frame's is well worn and the plexiglass is beat up, so we removed the piece out of the frame (for transport to Olivia at the San Diego Comic Convention) and for pictures....We can put the piece back in the frame if you wish, or mail without the frame...If you live within a few hundred miles of the Southern California area? Then we could possibly drive the item to you, or if you live in the SoCal area, we can arrange to get it from where we are keeping it (hanging in a mansion in Rancho Santa Fe)...

Created: 1990...on illustration board....

Over-all description : Brand new with no discernible wear...
