Description

This is one of the rarest Maurice Sendak Prints around. Go ahead and look for it. I have only found it in one other place. This one was pinned up, and was going for 220, 'good' condition.
This was printed by Peaceable Kingdom Press in 1970, within a year that the book came out. From in the night kitchen. Please let me know if you find it somewhere else. I think you might see it once for sale ( the same one I eventually found ) but not twice. Extremely rare, and very collectible.

Ok, just one problem, the matting used some kind of adhesive, under the matting is some kind of residue. It does not effect the appearance....The matting work itself is stellar. The frame needs some love, but hey this is a 40 year old print.
