DescriptionI was checking out Thomas's blog one day and he'd posted a series of pages he'd worked up around Hellboy. Seems Mignola's looking for an artist for an upcoming Hellboy project and Thomas wanted to have his hat in the ring. I was so impressed that I immediately got in touch with him to see if he'd do something Hellboyish for me. I'd recently been watching some of the old Universal Monster movies and a theme easily came to mind - Hellboy being sent to track down the Frankenstein Monster and find him on the lamb with his Bride. Great, great layout and wonderful use of shadow here.I'm not sure where Mike is with his project but, if you're listening, a book by Thomas's got my dollar. Original size 11x17 Social/Sharing |
