DescriptionSo October is Bond Month over at the Fans of Brian Stelfreeze Yahoo Group and this is my contribution.Robert ask me to do something Bond themed that also reflected me being German. So I decided to add a skyline of Berlin in the background. It's really faint and should show up better when I have a better scan, one that is not super patched. So here's my creative thought process in case anyone is interested. I knew I wanted to do something with Daniel Craig as a base but I didnt want to do a portrait. I also wanted to tip my hat to Brian Stelfreeze not only by my colour choice (I used a purple and blue that he uses a lot as well) but also to his Bond Girl creations. For all of you who dont know, Brian does 'Bond Girls' for the group members and only for group members. There's a long list but Robert and Brian make sure that the pieces reflect the owners. So I also wanted to give back to the group and the cool people in the group by including the current Bond Girls and hinting at the ones that are already planned. I also included my 'Bond guy' who is in the works (upper top right, the snooker player) and Major Eric Chin (who also has a story but for that, read the Yahoo Group messages). I also wanted James not to have a gun and all the Bond Girls to be armed. Bit of a switch of roles. And I wanted it all to have a touch of movie poster, thus the type. Aaaaand sorry for the scan, its super patched and the paper is warped a little because.. well its watercolour paper! Social/Sharing |

Great job Ana. Really nice piece reflecting all the right elements. Love the women being armed. Great idea to switch it up.
