I think every author, regardless of his talent, has strong points and in my opinion, the strong point (well, one of them) of Guéra are the backgrounds and as he able to enter and give depth to the characters in them. I think i saw for the first time this splash in one of the emails that Guéra sent me, and i was lucky to see it before its publication in the USA. I believe there are not many artist today who take so seriously his job as Guera, if you would can talk with him and know him a little, then you understand it. He is a madman with the details (clothing, arms, everything has to be real and it must coincide with the time and the place), with page composition (everything, absolutely everything of his effort is aimed at telling a story, and he cares very much about deleting everything that distracts the reader), style (if you look, not all Scalped issues have the same style, there are issues with one very clean inking, others with much ink and very dark, always depending on what the story needed), color, etc. In summary, Guéra is great, very great.

Creo que cada autor, al margen de su talento, tiene puntos fuertes y para mi el punto fuerte ( bueno, uno de ellos ) de Guéra son los fondos y como logra introducir y dar profundidad a los personajes en ellos. Creo que vi por primera vez esta splash en uno de los correos que me mandó Guéra, y tuve la suerte de verla antes de su publicación en EEUU. Creo que no hay muchos autores hoy en día que se tomen tan en serio su trabajo como Guéra, si pudierais hablar con el y conocerlo un poco lo entenderíais. Es un loco de los detalles (la ropa, las armas, todo tiene que ser real y coincidir con el lugar y la época), con la composición de página (todo, absolutamente todo su empeño está dirigido a contar una historia, y se preocupa muy mucho de eliminar todo aquello que distraiga al lector), con el estilo (si os fijáis, no todos los números de Scalped tienen el mismo estilo, hay números con un entintado muy limpio, otros con mucha tinta y muy oscuros, dependiendo siempre de lo que la historia precise), el color, etc. En resumen, Guéra es grande, muy grande
