So happy to finally own a page from Sleeper. I was a huge fan of the book from the moment I read the first trade. I still have a soft spot for this series, even tough Ed and Sean's later work is even stronger. I loved Sean's use of layouts on the series. Using a large panel (sometimes two) where the rest of the panels are composed around. Always concious of guiding the eye through the page in an inverted S motion. Lovely, lovely stuff which I studied a lot and incorporated in my own work. This is probably my second favorite page from the whole series (Season One and Two). My favorite page was no longer available, but I'm very happy to own this one instead. Featuring the heart of the book: the complex relationship between Holden Carver and Miss Misery.
